“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” (Psalm 23:5 NKJV)

“Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at the table, and he will come and serve them.” (Luke 12:37)

There’s an old song called Come and Dine. It goes like this:

“Come and dine the master calleth come and dine.
You can feast at Jesus table all the time.
He who fed the multitude, turned the water into wine.
To the hungry calleth now come and dine.”

What a thought to be seated at the table with Jesus. It says He will serve us who are awake. That doesn’t mean not asleep. It means ready to go, be saved.

I know, I know. I harp on this a lot. But I want everyone ready. I want all of us going to heaven. I want heaven crowded. I want hell a ghost town, no one there except tumbleweeds.

Oh I know. You will, but not right now. You are enjoying your life of sin. And that is your choice but I think it is the wrong one. Do you know where you would go if you were to die right now? Heaven or hell, those are your choices.

I thought Tuesday night might be my last night here. Late Tuesday night my heart was skipping a lot. It was skipping more than it was beating. Know what I thought? I thought, maybe I will go home tonight. I will be reunited with my parents. I can finally tell my dad I forgive him and love him.

But I am still here. Yes, a little disappointed but glad I still have a chance to spread the word that Jesus loves you. If you haven’t told someone about Jesus, do it today. If you haven’t told your loved ones you love them, do it today. You don’t know how much time you have left. Don’t waste a minute. Get saved, tell others about Jesus and tell your loved ones you love them. And always remember Jesus loves you and so do I.
