“Come and hear, all you who fear God and I will tell you what he has done for my soul.” (Psalm 66:16 ESV)
“And they have conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they lived not their lives even unto death.” (Revelation 12:11 ESV)
Do you have a testimony? Everyone does whether you realize it or not. Did you get an unexpected bonus? There’s a testimony. How about bills paid and you have no idea how?
I have a lot of testimonies but for the sake of space, I will limit them.
- I drive an older car. It gets me from point A to point B and back again. Once in awhile it needs a little help. A few years ago the throttle body went out. I never knew what a throttle body was or why it was needed. But when it went out, I quickly learned it is what helps keep the car running. My neighbor told me about her mechanic. So I called him. Seems I knew him from when he dated a friends 16 year old daughter, quite a few years ago. He fixed my car and would not take anything for it. He said it was because I was so nice to him all those years ago.
- I have had unexpected money come in from unlikely sources just when I needed it the most. I had a couple of friends help me get my car back when I had more bills than money and couldn’t decide what to pay.
- But even though those are just a couple, God has blessed me so I can sow into others too. Not as much as I would like to, but it will come.
God will work things out for us if we will let him. He will give us powerful testimonies to share and build up someone who’s faith may be running low.
So what is your testimony? Don’t tell me you don’t any. God has done something in your life. He won’t just leave you there all alone. Think about things that have happened and you have no idea how it was taken care of, but just know it was. God is into the supernatural way of doing things.
Have a great day!
