“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” (Proverbs 18:10 ESV)

“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10 ESV)

Have you ever felt like you were going under for the third time? Ever feel like you just can’t survive any longer? So have I.

But guess what, I did survive. And so will you. We just need a little help from time to time. A little push in the right direction.

Well, today I want to give you that little push. I want to nudge you in the right direction. That direction is toward Jesus. He is the way to salvation. He is our Savior: “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me.” (Philippians 4:13 ESV). Truer words have never been spoken as far as I am concerned. I CAN do all things through Christ because He DOES give me strength. He gives me the strength and courage to go on. He helps me fight the battles I need to fight.

But it’s not just me, He will for you too. He will provide for you like He does for me. You just have to ask. In James the Bible says, “You do not have, because you do not ask.” (James 4:2 ESV). We need to start asking. God will not withhold from you if you come to Him with a right heart. He loves us. He wants the best for us.

So I want to encourage you today to repent, ask Jesus to forgive you. Then ask Jesus into your heart. If you did that, you just took the first step into a relationship with Jesus. Congratulations! Welcome to the family.
