I have noticed that the seasons are changing. The leaves are beginning to change colors. Soon the trees will be bright yellows, reds and oranges. Then they will die off and fall, only to be replaced again in the spring.

Everything and everyone changes. Some changes are good while others not so good. While we change and grow, one thing remains constant. God! God never changes.

For that I will be eternally grateful. If God ever changed and changed His mind about us, what would that mean for us? Would we still get to go to heaven? Or would He say, “Sorry. No room.”

I like the fact that God is always the same. That way, when I mess up (and we all do), God forgives me. He gives me another chance to get it right. And if I don’t? Then I get another and another and so on.

God wants us to succeed. If He didn’t then why did He make it so easy to get saved? I mean, really. All you have to do is repent and really mean it. Then ask Jesus into your heart to live. Then live your life according to heavenly standards. It can’t get any easier.

Give it a shot. Just ask forgiveness for your sins. Go ahead, I’ll wait. Now just ask Jesus to come into your heart to live. Easy peasy. There it is. Any questions?
