“And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:3-5 ASV)

Ever have an obstacle in your way? What did you do? Did you go around it or go a different direction?

Obstacle is defines as, “A thing that blocks one’s way or hinders progress.” Satan likes to put obstacles in our way to prevent us from doing what God wants us to do. COVID was a huge obstacle. But we found ways around it. Satan shut down the church’s. We went online. He shut down indoor dining. Grubhub to the rescue. Curb side service also became very popular. We had to wear masks. People got creative with masks. I saw all kinds of masks, from camo to animal faces. They limited how many people could shop at one time. Online grocery shopping became popular with curbside pickup.

See? Obstacles are just a speed bump in the road. Once you see it, figure out how to avoid it or go around it.

Or ask God for help. He has a big bulldozer and will help you plow right over them. So when you hit an obstacle, let God bulldoze it down for you. Have a blessed day.
