“Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.: (Ephesians 5:17 ESV)

Four little words, thy will be done. Do you know what the will of God is?

God’s will is that we have a relationship with him. He wants us to know him. He wants us to do good and be good but he really wants a relationship with us.

How? He lives in heaven and we live here. How can we have a relationship with him?

Talk to him. Some of the best times I spend with God are in my car. For one thing, He has a captive audience. I’m not going to jump out of my car going 65, I mean 55 mph, down the road. Yes, I have been known to speed.

God talks to me a lot. Especially if I just make time for Him. That’s what He wants. He wants us to make time for Him. He wants us to need and want Him.

Can you make time for Him today? Is He worth a few minutes of your time? Put down your phone, turn the tv off and talk to God. He is waiting. He loves to hear our voices calling out to Him. So call out to Him today. Let Him know how much you love Him.
