“So Jesus said to him, ‘Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.'” (John 4:48 ESV)
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37 ESV)
Do you need a miracle?
I think we could all use one or two. But do you believe in miracles? Do you believe God can work miracles in your life?
I do. He already has several times. For example, way back in 2002, I was trying to get disability started. I was working with a company a friend recommended. I was with them a year. I got tired of waiting and started calling daily for updates. I guess they got tired of it and sent me a letter dropping my case. They said I don’t fit the criteria. I was talking to a friend about it. Her sister had just gotten approved. I got the name of her lawyer and within 6 months I had my disability started. I also had a local congressman checking and pushing for it. Plus, I didn’t have to go to court like most cases do. That was another miracle. My lawyer was even surprised.
Another one. A few years ago I had car trouble. The throttle body was going out. My neighbor told me about her mechanic. Turns out I used to know him. He dated a friend’s teenage daughter for awhile. He called after checking around for the part. It was Friday afternoon. He said he could get a new one that day for $500. Or if he waited until Monday he could get a rebuilt one with a lifetime guarantee for a little over $100. I opted to wait. When he brought my car home that next Tuesday, I had made arrangements to make payments. When I asked him how much, he said, “nothing.” I objected but he said it was because I was so nice to him all those years ago.
Another example. I wrote a book of devotionals. I had it published and within a couple weeks all 50 copies are spoken for.
So there are a few examples. Don’t give up. Keep praying and calling it in. Your miracle is on its way. God is so good. Don’t ever give up.
