The Bible tells us that God’s armament demolishes arguments.

What kinds of arguments are we talking about here?

Certainly not the kind we used to have around the dinner table…

No, the world’s arguments are very different. It argues, for example, that Alzheimer’s cannot be healed. It argues that there is sickness and death. It argues that there is depression and hatred and suicide. These are the kinds of things that the world has to offer.

Are you okay with the world’s arguments?

Are you okay with sickness, for example? Wouldn’t you be upset if you had terminal cancer? In this world, not all cancer can be healed.

I know how this feels. I was told by my doctor that I had Alzheimer’s. There is no cure for Alzheimer’s. I can tell you that I was NOT okay with the fact that the world was handing me Alzheimer’s and arguing that it could not be healed!

God’s armament is such that can protect us from the things of the world. This is why this Bible verse is so important: “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the, knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV).

But God demolishes these argument. He is the One who heals. He is the One who has the answers to the world’s problems.

What will you choose? The world’s arguments? Or God’s armament?
