Son of God AKA Son of Man

by | Apr 30, 2018 | Jesus, Poem

I think it must have rained hard the day Jesus Christ was crucified;
For I believe ten-thousand angels hung their heads and cried.
Knowing they were not allowed to interfere, nor lift a single hand;
To save The Son of God aka The Son of Man.

Can you imagine how it was when Christ let out His’ last sigh;
Angels were hovering all around to lift Him up on high.
The sound like thunder, the bright flash of white light;
From the movement of twenty-thousand angel wings taking off in flight.

Ever watchful over their precious Savior, as He preached to the tides;
Following Him from place-to-place, they never left His’ side.
Tears from ten-thousand angels would be enough to flood the land;
All because they could not save, The Son of God aka The Son of Man

Amen
