The Lord has a gift for you and for me.
It’s the gift of Salvation, and you know what?
“It’s free.”

You can’t buy it with money of any amount,
No credit cards, checking, or debit account.  
Jesus already paid for our gift with His life.

Through his blood, sweat, and tears,
“He was the Great Sacrifice.”
He took all of the beatings, and the scorn for us too.
Laid down His life for His friends, as God asked Him to do.  

You know that it must have hurt God really bad,
To put His son on that cross, the only child that He had.
For Jesus to suffer with those nails in his hands,
He paved the road for Salvation, it was all in God’s plans.  

Now, receiving His gift is so easily done.
Worship God on your knees, and have faith in His son.
Make amends for your sins, ask forgiveness; believe!
Then, His gift of Salvation you will surely receive.
