God are you disappointed in me today
Since I did not go but chose to stay

In the comfort of my home ,I rested
When I knew my faith in you was being tested

You asked me to go to my neighbors door
I simply said, no, that is such a chore

God did I disappoint you today
As I chose to leave the Bible alone nor did I pray

I feel so sad now that I made this choice
To leave you alone and to ignore your voice

Forgive me Father as I missed a chance
To serve you faithfully as you asked

I know that I disappointed my Father today
Forgive me and tomorrow I will not stray
