Please, teach me to walk, Lord;
A little closer to thee,
Show me through your eyes,
What you want me to see.  

Let your light be my beacon;
So, I can lead some lost soul,
Away from this world, Lord,
And into your fold.  

Just help me to walk, Lord;
A little closer to you,
Let your love light shine on me,
When each day is brand new.  

Let me be an example;
To those without Faith,
Just let your love light surround me,
So, I can show them your Grace.
