"Through the praise of children and infants you have
established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the
avenger." Psalm 8: 2. (NIV)
Thanks to our former principal, we now had a Bible
Club in our school; but when he was replaced by a new principal who wasn’t in
favor of such a club, I wasn’t sure if we would be able to continue. I decided
to ask him: “Can we continue our Bible Club?”
He was in shock: “What? A Bible Club in my school?”
Before making a decision, however, he decided to talk
with the school board lawyer. He, too, was perplexed, for this was, apparently,
the only Bible Club in an elementary school in our entire region. But how could
they stop something that was already in place? Between them, they came up with a
compromise: Anyone wanting to attend the Bible Club had to have written
permission from their parents.
They must have expected that this clause would cause
the Bible Club attendance to dwindle; in fact, however, the opposite occurred.
More kids began to come, and more kids heard the Word of the Lord. Some of these
Bible Club attendees came without any prior knowledge of our Father, but as
always, He came through. The kids enjoyed learning Christian songs and sharing
how they were experiencing our Father, and when even the unchurched began to
experience Him, they, too, became filled with fire.
These elementary students were not the only ones to
attend the Bible Club. Christian high school students also came, as well as my
former principal, the one who had allowed the Bible Club in the first place.
Nothing could stop this club!
The kids were so excited. Even at their young age,
they became ambassadors of the Most High.
Nothing can stop our Father from reaching others with
His love. Follow Him, and you will be blessed.
In His love,
