Today's Bible Verse:

"God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13, NASB)

Where's the Rain?

Two days ago, I was enjoying some of the sights in the city of Niagara Falls. All of a sudden it started to rain. It looked like cats and dogs were falling from the sky, but it didn't matter. I was actually in my car in a parking lot at the time, and hence, I stayed dry.

Eventually I left that parking lot, and as soon as I began to drive the rain began falling even harder. It now looked like there were huge ropes driving down from the sky. There was no other traffic, however, and I was able to drive slow enough to ensure that I was okay. I have a condition, you see, where I only see in two dimensions. Therefore, when rain falls hard, I cannot see the things that surround me. If I had been on the highway while rain was falling that hard, I would have a hard time being able to see other cars, or even the road. But I wasn't on the highway; instead, I was in a place where I could proceed within the limitations of my vision.

I whispered a prayer asking my Heavenly Father to protect me from this hard-falling rain, and then I headed for the highway. As I turned onto the on ramp, it was still pouring rain. Once I actually got my wheels on the highway, however, the rain stopped. It was amazing. Wherever I looked, I saw rain falling hard everywhere around me, except on the highway. As a result, I arrived home safely.

When we have weaknesses, our Father will help us through them. Whatever the circumstances, our Heavenly Father is always with us. One prayer is all it needs for Him to embrace us and show His love by guiding us. After all, He is our Father and He cares of us way more than anyone else every will

Are you in dire need? Ask your Heavenly Father. He will come to your rescue. "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1-3 NASB)"

I will never forget this experience. Wow! Our Father truly loves us!
